In 1951, in traditional Sicily, the land of citrus fruits, grandfather Carmelo Di Bartolo started his business, aimed at the production of semi-finished food products. His son Rosario, born and raised among the scents and goodness of these agri-food processes, worked for years with his father and brothers in the family business and in 1989, intrigued by the nearby native crops, decided to create a new factory dedicated entirely to transformation of dried fruit into food ingredients.

In fact, it is from the spark of curiosity and the desire to experiment that the factory dedicated to the transformation of dried fruit into ingredients was born, processed thanks to the eye of the experience gained in Rosario’s youthful years and destined to be recognized throughout the world.

The processing of fresh fruit and dried fruit becomes the company’s strong point, now a point of reference for industries on the national and foreign scene as a supplier of quality ingredients and a service that puts the satisfaction of different needs first of the customer.

Rosario dedicates body and soul to the work of the family business, transmitting his passion also to his children, who are all currently involved in Di Bartolo: Carmelo, is the current Sales Manager, Cristina, occupies the role of Administrative and Financial Manager, Valeria is Purchasing & Marketing Manager. This is how the company becomes synonymous with the meeting between modernity and tradition, between experience and experimentation, confirming and guaranteeing today as then the authenticity of its semi-finished products and the professionalism of the service offered.

Products that over time have only seen the processing tools and industrial machinery change, increasingly cutting-edge and with advanced technologies, with the sole aim of always offering the highest quality of product and service; a controlled production and an efficient staff, constantly monitored by an entirely family-owned property, which sets itself increasingly challenging growth objectives with the only purpose that matters: always following and responding to the continuous changes of the market without ever forgetting its own values .

Today, Di Bartolo, with its 2 factories, has 5000 covered square meters and 32 employees and represents a unicum at a national and international level in terms of versatility and production of ingredient solutions created for the Ice Cream, Beverage, Confectionery and Bakery sectors. The company is a family business that always tries to keep up with the times and to innovate, experiment, keeping the excellence and quality of the product intact. With the expertise acquired, it is able to accompany the customer in the research and development phase of new products, offering personalized recipes and product standardizations through a production process that makes use of highly technological systems and specialized and constant staff. -fully formed.
